Thanks Mark.
Yeh, mostly start with pushdowns as its pretty much the only movement that I can warmup properly on to then progress to the heavier lifts and feel no elbow pain (not that I suffer from that, but I feel pain in the elbows if I go straight to a compound type lift)
Pleased with the dips, would have liked 10 reps on the 2 plates lift tho!IG: waldronconstruction

That is cool that you recognized that your back pain was from your hamstrings. I hope that your knee is getting better with rest... sometimes that's all you need, but knees can be scary things... getting injured is something the I am most afraid of right now... I feel that I am more vunerable to injury since I'm just getting back to lifting... I agree with you about most dr's they don't really know much of what is going on... GP's only want to write you an Rx... as if a pill will just fix everything... Keep taking it easy.
Long way to go.

Yo yo! Sup guys!! I'll respond to all your posts tomorrow morning ok, don't have too much time now and going to bed right now!
My boss is in tomorrow morning but then goes on holiday to Spain for 2 WEEKS!!!! So for the next 2 weeks I'll be on alot
My left wrist is hurting. The knee is getting better, haven't really noticed it at all today.. I'm thinking I'm due a week off from the gym right about now and could possibly take this week off - which gives me more chance to get to your journals too which I like doing
Anyway, I put the stuff on that I have so far for my Rambo fancy dress thats this saturday! I need to clean the boots and I need a wig and headband too!
Also, I can't find a toy AK47 gun anywhere, supposedly they can't sell them no more because of all this gun culture crap over the last few years.. They still make em but in blue and white!! If I find one (which I'm hoping I can) I'll spray paint it black (if anyone n the UK has a good Rambo looking toy gun, let me know!)
What do you think? I'll be cutting the vest obviously to look like a proper vest, I bought that top today for like a few ???. Also need a fake knife too

Haha, summer is here already mate, it's been a good weekend and today is another fine day too
Yo Kurt, thanks bro
Well over the weekend it's gotten better, I've not even noticed it yesterday or today yet so hoping it it ok now, still gonna take it easy tho!
Deanna, whats up.
Thats right, most docs I've ever gone to with problems related to the gym (being injured) its always 'take 3 Ibuprofen a day' Simple as that! lol
Hey, you do the thing I do when you write.... with a few dots after every sentence.... know what I mean... ?
Thanks Karina, the dips were decent, but I think they've messed my wrist up, as I said in the journal that I could feel the old wrist problem coming on.. not the left one is a little bad.
Knee is fine tho i think
Yo Stealth, thanks dude!
haha, yeh I forgot to look but I don't even think it was marked!
The knee is now fine but my wrist is hurting now! lol
NEVER! I'd never leave legs out dude, I even did half a workout on them.
The left wrist has turned bad dude, not good!
Thanks Jen, the wrist got worse, and the knee feels ok upto now!
Yeh dude, I know to get the headband, but need a wig too, was just seein how I looked so far. Not bad i guess
Luckily its my sis's party so she know's I'm coming................. But afterwards I was gonna go inot the cirty center where there's a massive club culture and go to some bars and clubs, might not go down well! haha
Yup, hed band is sorted, just didn't put it on there cos have no wig yet.
I'd actually prefer the bow and arrow, but thats probably even harder to find!!! Especially the bomb arrow, that's a cool piece of kit
Haha, that can be my line of correspondence when asked where my gun is if I even up not having one lol
Hey Karina, thanks.
Yeh, my boss goes away and I bring my laptop to work to watch movies, I have youtube on listening to music all day, list to some episodes of Pro BBing weekly and most of all post here and the other forum I'm on. Its all good!!! lol
Weekend was way cool, the garden is pretty much finished now, just some piles of waste leaves and mub that I need to get rids of but apart from that it's looking tidy and pleasant. So I chilled out most of the day and got my set of garden tables and chairs out!IG: waldronconstruction

Wala read some of my notes in my log about my deload if you wanna know I how felt about it.
Ultimately it will pay off, but it was tough going into the gym and scaling back so much, especially since I had recently hit some PRs. With my conditioning work though, it was necessary, the C.N.S has been brutalized badly the past 4-5 months.Fitness Journal:

Tried a deload with light weight, not many sets etc and it just wasn't for me! A full week off is what I'll do, plus even with the light weights I was doing, my wrist was still hurting!
I think you win! rest will do me good.
I'll get a video made while in wok tomorrow of the garden - from start to finish
I was tempted to do the full 220 bench session then a light session, but when I got there even a 110 bench gave my wrist trouble! I'll be aking this week off and lets hope he wrist is fully ok by next week, it usually lasts 1 week (whether I train it or not, always 1 week!)
I may come back good from the time out?
I've already seen alot of your stuff Andy, that was part of my reason to try a deload instead of just a week off like I've always done it the past.
You're right tho, its hard just lifting some crappy weight and trying to get a sence of why you're doing it?! The week off will be best this time, especially with the wrist and the knee (which seems better tho)IG: waldronconstruction

go a deload buddy. 50% volume, 75% intensity (weight) should freshen you up after a couple of weeks
