You know more most. Some teachers really suck...most are good...then there is teh few and teh proud...teh ones dat leave a mark.
My favorite teacher ever was also the cheif of pulic saftey for a county in MI. He had a history with law enforcement/courts...every session he was able to use his real life experiences to makes sense out of statistics and research methods...STUDENTS LOVE STORIES.

i used to do cardio every day before i found out about correct nutrition. once i got my diet straight, i quit doing planned cardio and just lifted weights while eating right. i made better gains than when i was doing cardio. i'm still active, swim, walk, etc, but i do not set a 'time frame' or include 'cardio' around my work outs.

I was walking to the motherfing tire and battery place to pick up my car, thinking the rain had stopped finally: so I went the long way.......figuring I'd get a nice walk in. BOOOOM. Rain everywhere. Tree friggin EXPLODED pretty close to me. This blows because you can't do GPP on wet grass, and the grass will be slick at least until saturday.
The metabolic slowing is believed to be the bodies' adaptive response to long duration medium-high intensity cardio. It is also believed (and I know Bally's trainer likes to use himself and the sole fing exception to this rule) that the IMPACT level of cardio can screw w/ protein synthesis and nitrogen retenetion (thus encouraging catabolism as an adaptive response, and lowering metabolism as a result).^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I'm just throwing this out there, but are they still teaching about Neanderthal man... wasn't that proven wrong a long time ago?
"At the International Congress of Zoology (1958) Dr. A. J. E. Cave said his examination showed that the famous Neanderthal skeleton found in France over 50 years ago is that of an old man who suffered from arthritis;"
Kinda like Nebraska man came from a pig tooth... You know, "scientists" were able to even make up a wife for Nebraska man making assumptions from the one tooth they found... which again came from a pig...
Either way, I hope they stop teaching this junk someday...Life is like a roller coaster. There are ups and downs. Time to start climbing again!

Heck yeah...all over that...
I am 100% with there.
Just like the Mt St Helens eruption in 1980...
FACT: erupted 27 years ago.
FACT: K-Ar dating dates the rock up to 2 million years old
Historic Lava Flow----Potassium-Argon "age"
Hualalai basalt (Hawaii, AD 1800-1801)________1.6 million years
Mt. Etna basalt (Sicily, AD 1792)_____________1.41 million years
Mt. Lassen plagioclase (California, AD 1915)____1.1 million years
Sunset Crater basalt (Arizona, AD 1064-1065)__2.7 million years
Yet, this dating method is still used. Just one example of many LIES.Last edited by crazymutha; 08-24-2007 at 12:00 AM. Reason: t y p o

I just had to add one more favorite of mine...
Quote from a high school textbook-
"It is indeed very accurate to date the fossils by their layer... it is even more precise to date the layers by the fossil."
Does that seem nutty or is it just me? And to think my parents had to pay taxes for that education...Life is like a roller coaster. There are ups and downs. Time to start climbing again!

New Years??? My goodness! You can have a cheat before then you know, it won't kill you. I did dirty carbups every weekend in June, made some gains, then went back on strict keto and lost all the water weight in 2 weeks, and now I'm looking the best I ever have. It's been 5 weeks now and I deserve a cheat, so I'm having one, and 3 days afterwards I'll be back in ketosis with the water weight gone. If you're hating life THAT much, ease up a little. This isn't always going to be ha-ha-fun, but it shouldn't suck incomparably to everything else in life.

Summary of this thread...
Someone needs to make a summary of this thread and information that came out of it, or point me at one that is already created. I have read about 15 pages into this epic post and can't see reading till page 71!

I planned a cheat-day for yesterday...Went to macaroni grill...I kept within the IF guidelines (time-wise), but could only get 4000-4500 calories down until I was like a beached whale in pain on my bed. Before, my cheat-days have gone up to 6000-7000 calories. My bro and I have an ice cream eating challenge coming up (15 scoops of premium in 12 minutes) and it's not looking too good for me. Is it stomach shrinking due to the fast or just so much food at once?Don't need stimulants and I never fake the funk on a nasty dunk.

Maybe a little of both. It depends on what foods you eat. Like if you eat 4000 cals from carbs you'll be less full than 4000 from fat. Fat is very filling. And your stomach may have shrunk too. By the way that's a nice bet. Sometimes I joke with my friends that I could eat 50 Krystals in an hour and a half and they tell me Im crazy. Maybe someday I'll prove it to them.

Would it be logical to say eat within a 4 hour time frame in lieu of the 8 hours ? What I mean by this is, would gains differ ?
