the dumbell shrugs. i wanna get an idea of how much i should start at so i dont look like an idiot at the gym. just to give you an idea of how strong i am..i bench 120 for 3 sets of 10, i curl 22.5 pounds on each arm for 3 sets of 10, hopefully that can give you an idea of how much i can do for 3 sets of dumbell shrugs and 10 reps. hope that made sense, thanks in advance for any advice. also would it be good to work them on my bi/back day? thanks.

just test out the dumbbells until you find a good weight. nobody will care/watch you because you're doing shrugs for the first time lol.For me life is continuously being hungry. The meaning of life is not simply to exist, to survive, but to move ahead, to go up, to achieve, to conquer.

I started with a 30 db in each arm, but I already had some traps from gymnastics. Now that I have actually figured out how much I can handle I do 12 reps with 30 db/hand, 10 reps with 35, and 8 with 45
