Stim+C Log!
I just recieved my Neurostim+C today. Thanks a lot Marc, I'm excited to test this stuff out.
I have used regular Neurostim and Go!, so this log will compare both of them to Stim+C. In general, Neurostim is great for helping me focus while studying (I'm in college). However, Go! is better at pumping me up for workouts. I'll let you know how Stim+C stacks up.
My Stats:
age: 21
weight: 160
height: 6 ft.
bf: ~8-9% (my damn bf% scale says anything from 7-10)
Current Supplements:
ON's 100% whey
Dymatize Elite whey
Syntrax Matrix 5.0
Dex
Multi Vit
Ground Flax
VPX CEX
Things I'm looking at in this log:
-training focus
-energy
-endurance
-mood
-getting fired up to train
-fat loss
Tomorrow I will start using Stim+C before leg day. If anyone's got any suggestions for my log let me know. If anyone wants before and after pics I can do that too.

I love the sample of Neurostim I received, but it is too costly for a poor college boy Ironicly, we are the ones who need it most.
Good luck on the trial

I agree. I was going to buy the ingredients individually at Mikes' site, but found that it wasn't really any big difference. I'll just stick to my "boring" ALCAR/Tyrosine stack

Back from my workout.
30 min. before workout - had 1 scoop whey, 1/2 cut oats
15 miin. before workout - had 1 scoop Stim+C and CEX mixed
The combo tasted different but pretty good!
Workout - Legs:
warmup .5 mi. run
ATG squat 4 sets
SLDL 3 sets
Leg ext. 3 sets + drop
GHR 3 sets
seated calf raise 3 sets
45 degree calf sled 3 sets
stretching
Great workout! Stim+C got me in the mood to train in the same way Go! does. The addition of the caffeine really makes a difference. Just like neurostim, this gave me a subtle increased awareness of my body positioning during exercises. Endurance was not greater than normal. In fact, I felt a noticeable drop in endurance during my 2nd set of seated calf raises. My weights went up in squats, SLDL, leg ext., and seated calf raise (probably would have anyway). Still, a great workout. Stim+C definitely seems better for lifing than original Stim. And keep in mind that I only used a 1/2 dose to see how it would affect me. Next workout I will try 1.5 scoops.
Any questions?

Update on today's workout
30 min. before workout - had 1 scoop whey, 1/2 cut oats
15 miin. before workout - had 1.5 scoops Stim+C
This time I didn't mix it with the CEX to see how it tastes. Damn! It tastes a lot better than the original! The sour acidic after-taste is gone. It tastes really good now. The label still says "Lemon Spark" but the flavor is definitely improved. Also, it somehow mixes better than before and the color is lighter. I don't think that anyone is gonna not like the improved flavor.
Workout - Chest, Tris & abs:
incline db press 4 sets
flat db press 3 sets
cable flye 3 sets + drop
close-reverse grip bench 3 sets
skull crushers 3 sets
behind back rope press-down 3 sets
above head rope tri-press drop set to fatigue
incline reverse crunch 2 sets
cable crunch 2 sets
hyper' weighted oblique crunch 2 sets
Another good workout. Same postive effects as before. This time my endurance didn't fade towards the end of the workout; I was going strong even into the abs. So far, Stim+C is making for successful workouts. I didn't notice a significant difference between 1 and 1.5 scoops (asside from the endurance). Next workout I will try the full 2 scoop serving.

about how far into your workout did you feel a crash? I'd imagine that would be more due to caffiene rather than the other ingredients

Well yesterday it seemed like 60-70 min. into it, during calves, i lost muscular endurance. It wasn't a whole body fade, I just was able to do much fewer reps than I should have. Today there was no drop though. Possibly because I took 1.5 scoops instead of 1.

Day 4:
Sorry for the delay
30 min. before workout - had 1 scoop whey, 1/2 cut oats
15 miin. before workout - had 2 scoops Stim+C
Last night I had some of the original Neurostim while studying, which always helps, and that made me realize how much imporved the flavor of Neurostim+C is.
Workout - Back & Bis:
Deadlift: 4 sets
Pull-up with
triangle grip: 5 sets
Bent-over db row: 3 sets
Spider curls: 2 sets
alt. db curl: 2 sets
2 arm high cable curl: 2 sets
I'm not sure if using a full serving was really better than a 3/4 seving. However, today was not a perfect day to test that out. I was in a rush, because I had to get to work earlier today, so I had to shorten my workout (skipped calves, and a few sets on bis). I also had to stay focused to get done in time, and I was not distracted for a second. Strainght from one exercise to another. Endurance was not a problem at all, but like I said, this was a short workout for me, so next few workouts I will be using the same dosing to determine how much is neccessary. I know Go! only has 75mg caff. per serving and Stim+C has 125mg. Some people might be able to get more servings out of this than they think.
Also, Stim+C is continuing to help me better isolate muscles, and feel which ones are working. Its hard to describe, but it seems like this stuff makes it easier to keep your form right and better control your movements. Anyone have any idea why that is?

The main reason for not trying the original Neurostim for me was that one.
Now its winter and my appetite is naturally a bit higher, so I'm going to try the +C version and i hope to not experience appetite loss.

No appetite loss at all. I have been normal, which is always hungry. I have experienced appetite loss with certain thermogenics but not with Stim+C.

if you want appetite suppression stacking it with synephrine would be a good idea. Neurostim is not a thermogenic so far as I know

Yeah I know Neurostim+C isnt a thermogenic. I was just saying that certain things DO suppress my appetite, so I'm not immune to that effect. Therefore, I don't think Neurostim+C will cause appetite suppresion if he's worried about it.
For example Thermorexin does, but this doesn't.

Its funny I am writing an article on caffeine right now. Anyway, I am STILL focused like mad. I don't know if the Stim+C is still helping me here, or what but I'm never focused like this. Very nice.

I dont want appetite suppression, on the contrary, i want to avoid that effect.
I asked because some of the guys who tested the original Neurostim experienced some appetite loss, as side effect.
I have my sample and i will soon find out if it causes that to me or not

Caffiene is a mild appetite suppressant.
ALCAR may create a similar effect.

Speaking of appetite, I woke up in the middle of the night because I was hungry, even though I had my Matrtix and flax before bed.
Day 5:
25 min. before workout - had 1 scoop whey, 1/2 cut oats
5 miin. before workout - had 2 scoops Stim+C
Workout - Delts, traps & abs:
db press 4 sets
side db press 3 sets
db bent over lat. raise 3 sets
db lat. raise drop set to failure
incline db shrug 3 sets
bb shrug 2 sets
abs 2 sets
Good workout. I puked after my 4th set of db press but thats cause I ate too close to lifting. It didn't affect my workout. Endurance was strong all the way and I could have done a lot more, time permitting. Still can't tell if the 2 scoops is working any better than 1.5. Tomorrow is legs so we'll se how 2 scoops goes with that challenge.
By the way, I'm really enjoying the way that Stim+C is helping me focus the rest of the day, even when taken 6 hours earlier. Last night I was still extremely focused while writing a paper, and I'm ussually always getting distracted. This stuff works like Ritalin without the bad sides. Only side I did feel is that I got a headache after finishing the paper last night. Stim+C is honestly helping me big time in 2 very important aspects of my life.

Day 6:
25 min. before workout - had 1 scoop whey, 1/2 cut oats
5 miin. before workout - had 2 scoops Stim+C
Workout - Legs:
warmup .5 mi. run
Front squats 4 sets
leg press 3 sets
staning leg curl 3 sets
seated calf raise 1 100rep set
45 degree calf sled1 100rep set plus hold
Yeah I ofiicially love this stuff. However, I don't really think I need a full 2 scoops to feel the desired effect. 1.5 seems just as good for me. Also, why do I keep puking (this time it was right after front squats)? Oh well, its not a good feeling but at least you know you're working hard. Neurostim+C consistently gives me great focus throughout the day which is an awesome effect that I didn't know I would be getting. The only bad part is that I have been getting headaches before going to sleep and for a little while after waking up. Hmm.

Day 7:
30 min. before workout - had 1 scoop whey, 1/2 cut oats
Today I decided to take a day off of the stim+C to make sure I don't become too tolerant to it. I also wanted to see how the workout would go without it.
Workout - Chest $ Tris:
incline db press 3 sets
decline bb press 3 sets
weighted dips 4 sets
skull crushers 3 sets
behind back rope press 3 sets
above head rope press drop set to failure
My weights today progressed as ussual, but I did notice less endurance. I got tired duing the declines, but then I picked back up. The focus was not as good though. I was listening to the music, talking to people. That remade Willy Wonka song came on and I HATE that song so I went and told someone, "don't you hate this song?" When I take Neurostim+C it puts me in a very focused / driven mindset, and don't pay attention to anything other than my lifting.

Day 8:
30 min. before workout - had 1 scoop whey, 1/2 cut oats
15 min. before workout - had 1.5 scoops Stim+C
Workout - Back, Bis, forearms, Calves:
Deadlift 4 sets
Triangle grip pullup 4 sets
Cable row 3 sets
Lat pulldown 2 sets
bb curl 4 sets
alt db curl 3 sets
2 arm high cable curl 2 sets
reverse bb writst curl 3 sets
behing back bb wrist curl 3 sets
seated calf raise 3 sets
I feel great! This is why I love weekends. I can workout as long as I want. And Stim+C had me just so driven and pumped the whole time. Endurance the whole damn workout. I could have kept going but it was already plenty. I even got a pump in my bis which is ussually hard for me to get. I like lifting always, but when I take Stim+C I am just tearing it up in my own world. I love this stuff. Marc is a genious.

Day 9:
30 min. before workout - had 1 scoop whey, 1/2 cut oats
15 min. before workout - had 1.5 scoops Stim+C
Workout - Shoulders, Abs:
bb press 4 sets
cable reverse fly 3 sets
side db press 3 sets
lying lat raise 1 set
incline db shrugs 3 sets
incling leg raise 3 sets
rope crunch 3 sets
crunch on bench 3 sets
Another decent workout with plenty of endurance. Only problem was that I forgot my straps so I couldn't do heavey bb shrugs as ussual. I'm using 280 lbs and I once dropped a bb on my ankle / lower calf doing behind the back shrugs, so I never do them without straps anymore. Nothing else different to report, except I think the effects of Neurostim+C are strongest when you don't use it every day of the week. Yesterday I used the same amount as today, but I think the mood enhancing effects were greater yesterday because I did not use it the day before. Its good to not become dependent on a supplement, anyway.

Tomorrow is leg day for me. Neurostim+C always seems to work better after a day without it, so tomorrow I'm gonna try for a new PR of 300 in SLDL. Wish me luck.

Day 9:
45 min. before workout - had 1 scoop whey, 1/2 cut oats
15 min. before workout - had 1.5 scoops Stim+C
Workout - Legs:
Warmup - .5 mi. run
ATG squat 4 sets
SLDL 2 sets
GHR 3 sets
Leg press 3 sets
Seated calf raise 3 sets
45 degree calf 3 sets
Cooldown - .6 mi run + stretching
This was a very good workout for me. I SLDL'd 300 for 8 reps. Last time it was 295 for 6 reps. I was very happy that I was able to do that and I didn't even strain my back. Anyway, the Stim+C is contiuing to help me feel the position of my body and that was particularly helpful in focusing on hams and glutes when doing SLDLs. Energy and drive was sweet too, of course.
Neurostim+c + Metallica = PUMPED!

Day 12:
30 min. before workout - had 1 scoop whey, 1/2 cup oats
15 min. before workout - had 1.5 scoops Neurostim+C
Workout - Chest & Tris:
Db bench press 2 sets
Decline bb press 3 sets
Incline db press 3 sets
db fly (cable was broken) 3 sets
Skull Crushers 3 sets
Overhead rope extension 3 sets
CGBP (super setted with dips) 3 sets each
Today, I upped the weight on the db presses. It went well until I got to my 3rd sets, and I just could not get them up and it hurt my shoulder a bit. Not too bad to finish the rest of the workout though. Again I had excellent energy levels after taking the Neurostim+C even though I didn't sleep enough last night. The Stim also helped me focus on contracting the pecs on the db flyes.
