    Critique My Diet

I know you guys get this thread a lot, so sorry. I just need some help figuring out whether this is the right diet. I'm trying to get in shape for Tennis, so any help would be appreciated.

    Diet Facts Per Meal

    Total Calories: 336

    Protein: 25g
    Carbs: 42g
    Fat: 7g

    Total Calories Per Day: 2016

    BMR(St-Joels Method): 1740
    Body Fat Percentage: 23.33%

My goal is too bring my body fat percentage down to at least 10%, 5% if possible, within 3-9months. I burn approximately 700 Calories from exercise.

Why would each of your meais contain the same number of calories, composed from the same macronutrient breakdown? And why do you list your BMR and not your maintenance intake?

It's a rough estimate of how many calories each meal contains and I make them the same because it's easier for me to keep track of. Damn, can't believe I forgot to mention that ****. My maintence intake is about 3006 and I'm 5'7.

@Vitornoob: I've actually read those stickies. I didn't mean to post the number of meals to ask if that is a good number of meals. It just happens to be convenient for me. Sorry for confusing you like that.

If your maintenance intake is about 3,000 calories per day, then your total caloric intake is too low and, also, your dietary fat is too low (unless you happen to weigh about 100 pounds). Also, your protein intake may or may not be too low, depending on how much lean body mass you carry.

By the way, do you know that there's no metabolic advantage to eating 6 meals per day?

Yes, I know, but as I said earlier, it's not because I think there's an advantage or such. It's because I can't eat a lot at once, so I split my diet into 6 meals per day. My schedule allows me to fit 6 meals, so I do it.

    How about:
    6 Meals Again

    42g Protein
    58g Carbs
    13g Fat

I thought if you wanted to lose weight, you ate about 500 Cal less than your maintenance? To get the required amount of macros per day, should I use the calculator on the site?

Oh, now I get what you were trying to say. Those macros were Daily TOTALS. Note that I didn't write 6 Meals or Per Meal above them or anything.
