overhydration in marathon runners usually occurs due to sodium losses, not just water intake
but yes, it is virtually impossible to overhydrate unless you do something extremely stupid like drinking 2 gallons of water in a very short time span
or if you sweat a lot and replenish the water but take in no sodiumISSA certified personal trainer

There's no way I bumped this lol I only comment on "new posts" I don't see how it could've happened.
And my information wasn't wrong on a small level, I don't think the OP was drinking gallons of water without eating food.
But I apologize because it is wrong to assume, so if you're drinking gallons and gallons of water a day and not eating some nice pickles or banana's to help keep electrolyte balance, you're already dead
