My biceps are pretty tall, (14.5 around) but they are not very wide..like from behind they look very thin, what can I do to make them more proportioned and thicker?

If they look small from behind you should work on youre triceps....................................... everyone should know this

They have everything to do with bi's. Just because you aren't isolating them doesn't mean they aren't being put under heavy stresses, they also give the benefit of making everything else bigger as well.
Face it mostly everyone is unhappy with the size of their biceps, make your arms bigger and stronger through the compounds.
I wouldn't bet the lack of big arms on most guys is because they haven't been doing their curls... try attacking the problem in a different way and come back to what your doing currently after some time away.
