Question Nursing a Biceps Tendon Strain/Tear

About 3 weeks ago I strained my biceps tendon and I haven't been working my upper body since. I was wondering if there is anything I can do to work my back or chest that won't irritate the strained tendon. I don't know how much longer it is going to be before I can work my arms. This weekend it was feeling great but I rolled over on it wrong while sleeping on Sunday night and it was really sore again Monday morning. I talked to a friend of mine who is a physical therapist and he said no curls, no presses and no pulldowns. Is there anything left I can do? I am still pretty new to all this so any advice would be great!

I would just let nature take its course with this one. Just keep your diet in check, do your cardio, legs, and abs. A rest does body parts good sometimes.

First, its not a tear. Second, if you strained it, there is nothing you can do but give it time to recover, aka rest.

Sometimes stretching and massage are helpful, both of which would be easy to do since its your biceps.
