Question Question With regard to Soya Prot.

    Hey there,

Now veg. protein isn't the best out there, but some of the Soya prot. products out there have concentrations of up to 90% prot. by mass. Is it a good idea to use it as a low cost alternative to the more expensive stuff out there?

Its not really too much cheaper (if at all) than whey concentrate. Go to
s n d c a n a d a dot com and check out their prices (I see that you're from Canada. Soy protein mixes like ****, you will need a blender and of course it has no taste.

There is an snd store at Yonge at Wellesley too (just north of wellesley, on the west side)

    More question about soya...

Thanks alot for the response, I was wonderring if anyone has ever used a soya isolate from Swiss Natural Sources. I've been using it with some decent results (at the very least its a great hunger supressent), does anyone know how it compares?

is it the small plastic package (about 1 lb. or so)? If that's the one then I have, it did fill me up due to its thick consistency, so IMO its decent for dieting....but I would not rely on it for all the shakes I take in...Its hard to gauge results from protein bro, provided you meet your requirements, the source is not THAT important...so I really can't say.

Soy isolate is a complete protein, the only vegetable protein that, on its own, contains all the essential amino-acids. So its decent IMO, probably more so during a diet phase.
