Hey there,
Now veg. protein isn't the best out there, but some of the Soya prot. products out there have concentrations of up to 90% prot. by mass. Is it a good idea to use it as a low cost alternative to the more expensive stuff out there?

is it the small plastic package (about 1 lb. or so)? If that's the one then I have, it did fill me up due to its thick consistency, so IMO its decent for dieting....but I would not rely on it for all the shakes I take in...Its hard to gauge results from protein bro, provided you meet your requirements, the source is not THAT important...so I really can't say.
Soy isolate is a complete protein, the only vegetable protein that, on its own, contains all the essential amino-acids. So its decent IMO, probably more so during a diet phase.
