Fav Nine Inch Nails albums?

For me, it's

1) Downward Spiral
2) With Teeth
3) Pretty Hate Machine
4) Year Zero (still getting used to it)
5) The Fragile
6) Broken (not a big broken fan)

What about you guys?

Pretty Hate Machine is my favorite. I lost interest in NIN after Downward Spiral. Yes, sacrilige, I understand.

I also happened to like Broken when it came out, but upon review, it's OK. Although, it signalled a pretty substantial move from Pretty Hate to his more recent sounds.

Despite the fact I don't enjoy his music anymore, Trent is a monster with the machines. The things he can do with a synth are things I can't even conceive of doing. I just happen to enjoy a different style of electronic music. Still, I should probably take a look at his new albums given the ruckus...

Year Zero, is ****ing past amazing, my #1..

Zero-sum is an incredible song too...

then downward spiral I guess.. I have it all by songs not by album though so I don't have favourite albums as much..

Haven't really listened to Year Zero. Is it worth the buy??

The Fragile is my favorite, especially disc 2. So dark and brooding! I never really liked NIN before that; I randomly purchased Fragile just wanting to see what they were about, and was totally blown away. Ever since then I haven't liked any of their stuff, though their new album sounds a bit better than their last few.

i would say my favorite is downward spiral followed by year zero

Bit of negativity towards With Teeth. I think it's a cool album. To each his own, though.

Also suprised at how many people rate Pretty Hate Machine so highly.

I like it. I think it's a similar sounding album to With Teeth. If you download Survivalism or Capital G, I think they're pretty representative of the album.
