Why do people hate cops so much?????

I'm just asking, because I'm a cop and even though I've accepted this fact, it just sucks because you put your life on the line everyday on the job, and the people you protect hate you for it.

Also, if you have any questions, any at all....I'll answer them for you. Whether it's about getting out of tickets, or how court, or the law.

That's true, there are cops out there that are *******s. There's cops out there that are *******s to other cops.

But the truth is, even though I work in the worst ghetto in Chicago, I love my job and I'm not disgruntled yet.

Cops are just like everybody else, except they have authority. THey're not any more good or bad then the rest of the population, because it's simply a function of garbage in, which results in, garbage out.


But I really hate those traffic cops in NYC. They're a bunch of no english-speaking, button pushing cowards. I challenge them to fights often but they have no honor and turn me down. I'll send them back to wherever country they came from. And, if you think I"m stereotyping or generalizing, visit my city and see the ******* give you a ticket for standing in a no-standing zone for 15 seconds and run off like a beyotch.

Ticket whores are loved by the city. Real cops are hated by the city. Why you ask???? Because the real police cost the city money, while ticket whores make the city money.

Because cops represent figures of authority (like our parents) and they're always telling us what we can and cannot do. Something no adults wants to hear. So I only hate them when they're telling me what to do. But when their orders are directed to someone else and I agree, I like cops!

Because alot of police officers abuse their power, and are often just as bad as the criminals they arrest.

I'm not saying ALL cops are, but the entire police force in my city (now shut
down because of corruption) used to pretty much abuse power.

It was common for them to confiscate drugs, and sell it. Keep stolen items they recovered and tell people it was never recovered (entire police force was in on this), they used to ride around when bored and pick up a drunk and take him to a rural area and beat them for fun (some of them was bragging about it). Another time they shot an unarmed guy then planted a weapon on him (bragged about this too). And one of them was in on burglary with a regular criminal (he'd give him rides to and from the area and warn him if anyone called the police on him and stuff).


Police officers can do a lot of underhanded **** and get away with it, especially when they have many others in on it with them. Just because someone has a badge and a uniform doesn't make them an honest person. I appreciate the honest ones, but I can understand why people don't trust police officers because of what I've seen/ know from personal experience.




I won't even get started on how they ticket for not wearing a seatbelt but pretty much let people drive drunk.

Okay for the first one, that's still illegal. You're supposed to stay like 100-500 feet from a cop car when the lights are on.

I like domestics. The calls I hate the most are CSA's. That's criminal sexual assault. Because most of the time it's bull****. Like if a girl's bf find's out that she cheated on him. She'll accuse the guy of rape.

I'll throw some out at you. I had a 13 year old say she was raped, while her 12-year old friend was in the other room. After investigating, we discovered that she broke curfew, and when she breaks curfew her daddy whips her butt.

Another guy promised some slut crack rocks for sex. Afterwards he goes to his drawer, and discovers that he's out of crack rocks. She goes ape ****, runs out the house and flags me down, accusing the guy of rape.

The domestics I hate are the ones where everyone's a female. Those suck.

Thats a good question though.
If there is ever a cop flying in the fast lane at 20+ over the limit (no lights), there can be people tailing him at the same speed and they dont get pulled.

Does that m ake sense? what gives? how would you pull someone following you breaking the limit.

Well alot of them aren't corrupt. "Some" are corrupt, and those that are, get it the worse when it comes to prison sentences and prison itself.

As for the seatbelt, just be glad that its a bull**** ticket that will most likely get thrown out in court.

As for the driving drunk, most cops won't do DUI's because they're a pain in the ass to do. We don't let them drive drunk though. If we discover them to be intoxicated we'll sometimes take their car keys and chuck it on a roof.

-Racist Cops = about 70%
-Fake Cops and theres plenty around here

I used to respect cops, and I don't hate them now. I hate the government for making my favorite plant illegal, and for making it a police officers job to arrest me for smoking it.

Not all cops are that bad, but people dislike them in general because nothing good can come from being pulled over, you either get arrested/a ticket or get away because you did nothing wrong and you end up wasting time.

QUESTION... can police cars sit on the side of the road with none of their lights on whatsoever.. Cop was over the hill at night radaring and I could have easily nailed his ass.

You let them pass you up, and find out why they're tailgating you. When I pull someone over, it's pretty much decided within the first 10 seconds on whether or not they're getting a ticket.

Or I'll write those few tickets that'll get me court. And when I see them in court, I'll tell them to plead not guilty, and I won't contest it. Then I'm out of there. And when it comes to cops and court, we can be there for 5 minutes, but we're getting paid for 3 hours.
