    egg whites/eggs best time to eat?

    since egg whites are more fast digesting, would eating them pre bed or mid-day not be good? i love cooking egg whites into pan cakes therefore i eatthem quite often, someone told me this is no good and that only good rtimes to eat them are morning or around workouts.,is this true?

    Eat them any time you want. Its just protein. Just like how Whey Protein is...or how Chicken or fish is.

    Eggs are great..both egg white or whole eggs. Easy to digest...and tasty.

    Don't worry about it fast digesting or what not. People even have Whey Protein and a banana as a snack..and people would say you should only have whey in the morning or pwo....

    Eggs are my favorite protein source.

    yeah, also egg whites are low in cals...4 egg whites are only like 70 cals or something. best stuff ever

    Hmm, I'd actually be interested if there is a valid reason for not eating them at a certain time. There are days when scrambled egg whites sound great for dinner instead of chicken or tuna, but I decide I'd better stick to my plan as is.

    I really can't think of any reason why they'd be "bad" to have for a meal anytime. The breakdown according to Fitday:
    6 egg whites =
    99 Cals
    0 Fat
    2 Carbs
    21 Protein

    Currently, I have egg whites pre-weight training (first meal) or about an hour after HIIT (also first meal, though I do have a scoop of whey before HIIT).

    what do you guys usually have with your cooked egg whites? I like cooking a eggwhite pancake with cottage cheese and whey..tastes pretty damn great

    I eat at least three eggs in the morning and put 6 tblspoons of liquid egg whites in my protein shake.

    12 egg whites...in oatmeal pancake everymorning...plus 2 over easy eggs or scrambled on the side. Pancake topped with blueberries, bananas...and sugar free syrup...

    Eat this everymorning.
