Power hitter, ay? I think if I was a batter I'd enjoy opening much more, too much pressure on 6th to hit big bounderies quickly.

batting is all about technique... keeping the bat in line...

My problem is that when I do walk out, I'm coming out in the 45th over or so, and the opening bowlers are back in the attack bowling the bouncers and short balls that I can't deal with.
Generally I just try and see out the over without scoring a run, and then let the other bloke shield me from the strike from then on.
My real problem is fielding, though. I've dropped so many sitters it's embarrassing. No hand-eye co-ordination.
