Questions on Keto: Workout and if I'm in Keto

Okay guys...I'm back.

Just spent about two weeks ago on and off to see how I liked this idea of ketosis. And just took it seriously, this week. I don't have any ketostix. And can't tell if there's a change in bad breath for me. Might be. But I brush twice a day and floss, with also various things. But what I can say is that I noticed that my urine is neon yellow....literally. So I just wanted to know that could mean I'm in ketosis.

Also I worked out today...okay my workout regime was two body parts a day, to bring my workout day to about only 3 days a week. Unfortunately that won't be happening only because after workign out my back today...I almost died. I think I worked the weights to heavy I dont' know, I did work out to the point of failure, and cardio city. Is this good or bad? Can I go heavy and hard on CKD? After that I had a high protein supplement. Optimum Nutrition's Pro Complex. I only take it once a day and only after my early morning workout. Hope that's okay?

So it seems I'm following more of a Max-OT workout. Is this a good idea, while on the CKD? Don't want to hurt myself. Oh if some dont know. I weight 221, I'm female and I'm about 5'2" Big boned, with a meso-endomorph body type.

I had quite a bit of food that was on the list, cheese, beef, string cheese, olives, I did have some sour cream, with a few strips of red peppers (sweet), broccoli. Accidentally had one grape. Sipped the smallest amount of cranberry juice, and did have about half an apple.

My total came out to about:
67% fat
3% carbs
30% protein---about 185 grams

Please let me know what you guys think...and if you possible believe I might be in ketosis?

Sin,
VB

i don't know about the rest, but the neon yellow or ecoplasma colored pee is probably from vitamin B, check you multi-vitamin, it's normal if you are taking it. hope this solves one of your problems

That usually only happens when you take a straight b complex supplement. Multivitamins don't usually do it. I take both and only get it with the b complex. Plus there is kind of a difference in the colors. B complex is a darker neon yellow... KetoNeon is lighter.

Anyway, with those percentages.... If you've been at them for at least a few days, I'd say most likely you're in ketosis. A lot of people don't get the bad breath thing, or they just get a slight weird taste in their mouth, especially in the morning.

[edit: I just read another post of yours.....]

I think the best approach for you is to do standard entry level weight and cardio training. No Max anything. What's going to be appropriate is increasing your cardio efforts to oxidize your stored fat. That means making sure you breathe loud enough to hear it, and sweat throughout your workout. The increased breathing rate is what you need to oxidize (burn) adipose tissue.

Weights: 12 to 15 reps, conservatively heavy, about 3 times a week or exactly according to the ckd plan. Each time, doing cardio after your weight training and cardio on your non-weight days. One day of total, absolute, complete rest.
