After taking a couple weeks off, I did my first HST session today. About halfway through, I got sick to my stomach and nearly threw up (except I hadn't eaten that morning yet).
In retrospect, I suppose the lactic acid build-up at 15 reps is pretty high and that I should have eaten some breakfast first. So I'm going to do that next time.
My question is about the rest intervals between sets in an HST program. I tried to move through pretty quickly (R<1 min), but I don't actually remember reading anything about rest between sets or exercises in the HST literature. Did I just miss it? Does anyone who's used HST have any suggestions this?
