    Smile Forearm Pain

I have been lifting on and off for about a 2 yrs now, but recently have become re dedicated and began working out 4 times a week. Recently I have symptoms of aching forearms (pain). Any ideas as to what this may be or how to prevent it?

    Thanks for your help!

They will usually get sore in the begining, then stop (just like most muscles). Depending on what your doing, if you can, try not to grip the bar soooo tight (some exercises, you NEED to grip it tight though). Focus the workload on the muscle being used, not ur forearms....

i asked the same question last night lol, forearm pain has to be the most common injurt in bodybuilding, anyway the advice i was give (if its a stinging forearm pain) was to put as much pressure on the spot then massage it abit then stretch your forearms, repeat over and over and soon the pain will be gone

Im going through the same thing, dont use a straight bar when doing bicep curls for a couple weeks and dont work the forearms out directly for a little bit. They will heal. Its just one of those pain periods you have to go through
Everyone wants to be a bodybuilder....learn to balance everything..no injuries..no burnout. Give your body plenty of rest and it will thank you with great results! Lots of protein..
