I am trying to lose weight and it is hard since usually all I have in my house is a bunch of snack foods, and I have since become addicted to eating some chips late at night or something like that.
Do you guys have any good tips of breaking some of these late night eating habits? Would drinking lots of water helps instead?

x2. This can really be a killer, especially when cravings hit at night. First, develop a meal plan based around healthy foods that you ENJOY. Trust me, they exist. You'll still have cravings if you're coming off a junk diet...so little things like chewing gum and drinking a lot of water will definitely help.
Stick with it for like six weeks. Just force yourself...in the big scheme of things it's not that long. Cheat maybe once a week. Your cravings will subside, and before you know it you'll have made a complete 180 with your eating habits (speaking from experience)

Well
I understand that in many cases you can't control what comes into the house. This is especially true if you are living at home.
Remember that planning is the key to succeeding where consistency is needed.Want to lose Weight?
1. Eat every 3 hours
2. Each time you eat 4-8oz protein 1-5 servings green veggies
3. Carbs other than vegetables only after 1 hour workout and only if you must have them.
4. Skip drinks that contain calories

Just need determination, my parents still have all kinds of junk food around the house but i have my chicken, eggs, protein bars and rice. Just think about how good you will look when your done with your diet. I came from a heavy junkfood diet and now i have no problems, i cut soda over night and everything else over a few days. Just have to have the will! Good luck
