It just depends. At 287 lbs I would say you could realistically lose 35 lbs in 3-4 months. It's best to go slow and retain as much muscle as possible, but it would be fine to lose 2-3 lbs/week.

Study the nutrition stickies and stick to a good workout routine.

Would you call this breakfast a good:
    1 orange
A bowl of cereal(cookie crisp or applejacks)
    Toast
    Small can of pineapple

My brother has a bike(the one indoor, not the one to take outside)
So I should use at least for 35-50 minutes a day.

    I don't agree with that...

I did 35lbs in 10 weeks, and that was after having lost about 35lbs already. I lost it in a safe manner and I have no issues with loose skin...

Done properly you can do it in 10 - 15 weeks, it's upto you how hard you train and how strict you are.

I'd target no more than 1.5lbs. wk as 35 lbs. is alot of weight to drop in half the # of weeks vs. the total weight. Initial weight loss will be larger in the 1st 1-2 weeks which is primarily water then it should level off once your in the cycle. Bakance diet- protien, carbs, fat ratio, 1-2 gallons H2O daily, cardio & rest. Get off all of the simple-refined sugars. Stick with complex carbs & good sources of fat; not saturated.

first thing you need to do is take your cookie crisp and apple jacks boxes and throw them out...

2nd thing is figure out what your daily calorie intake should be... read all the stickies it should help
