RippedUp's VPX Reviews
I've been using three VPX products that I am reviewing below.
Glucosa Cream: I use it almost every day, after my post-WO shower, on my knees and shoulders. I've already commented on it in this thread and am still loving it. Great product; should be a staple.
NitronX: I just finished a jug (chocolate flavor). Used slightly more than 3 big scoops per serving, only after my WOs. If it meets label claims, then this is one hell of a post-WO recovery formula.
The protein is very high quality; no bloating, and it goes down very easily. It has a good ratio of protein-to-carbs; a few more grams of carbs and slighltly less protein would have been perfect though, IMO. It tastes awesome as well!
I have achieved some good progress during the time I used it.
Only negative point is that it contains no more than ten servings; for the price, ~3lbs would have been more fair.
If I lived in the US, I would have made it a staple in my post-WO supplementation, alternating it with SAN's Myodrive.
CEX: Being a non-responder to creatine, I decided to give it a go. I immediately noticed the improvement in my training; more strength, energy, endurance, and especially pump!
Did legs yesterday, and started with 20 reps squat with 225lbs. When I was done, the pump was so intense that I needed ~10 minutes to be able to go for another set, as I was unable to bend my knees..
Weight has increased 1.5lbs in a week. And I still look lean and vascular.
Great product.
The downside is that I sometimes have difficulties falling asleep when I take it later in the day. Anyone else notice that?
Tastes fine BTW.
I personally still would love to see lab tests of a few VPX products though.
But overall, I have been quite pleased with their products.

Micellean MRP:
This is the best MRP I have ever had. It has a great nutritional profile, tastes good, and mixes well.

RU,
Nice reviews. I bought a bottle of Nitronx from BSL a while back and will start using it soon. The profile looks great. I also concur with size, Micellean is a solid MRP.

it's good to see some of the VERY WELL RESPECTED members of this board giving VPX it's due props. They may not have what some would consider ethical advertising, and all oral/liposomal ph/ps are expensive...but that doesn't mean VPX products aren't high quality and highly effective.
Good reviews bro!

ive only tried the CEX and it's and awesome product. If any of their other supps are like CEX then they are def. a top notch company. Nitronx looks good but its a little expensive for just 10 days worth.

Yes, if i take it in the late afternoon i dont feel the *desire* to go sleep
Taste is acceptable, expecially if mixed with orange juice. but i cant compare to other CEE products.
[Micellean Superfood]
Its label is stellar but unfortunately the tastes is horrible for me. It gives me nauses after about 6oz (half of what i'm supposed to drink). Tried vanilla and chocolate. I wont risk buying cappuchino. sigh

You can take them together, but I wouldn't mix them together, as the taste would probably suck.
