Flat bench is harder IMO. You can put more weight on the bar with decline but less ROM. Stick with flat and weighted dips.

You can usually flat bench more than either incline or decline. I should say IMO.

In my experience, I can handle the most weight with decline and the least with incline; flat being in the middle.

incline hits your chest harder.. but its mostly delts.. there for harder...

you can put up more on flat bench becuase you use more chest in order to mnove the weight...

the most can be put up on decline becuase of the decreased rom..

Decline bench has got a higher number of motor units activated than all other forms so you're able to 'use more muscle'. The rom isn't lowered THAT much i can bench more decline with my back flat against the bench than i can on a flat bench with arch. (i measured the rom, small difference but flat got a lesser rom)

For me, incline is definitely the hardest, followed by flat, followed by decline.
I liken decline to arching one's back when doing flat bench. Ya know, like when people arch their back and raise their butt to get up a particularly heavy weight.
    DOH!

A proper arch is butt and traps/shoulder on bench, lower back pushed up as much as one is capable of doing.

technically you should be stronger on decline, then flat and finally incline.

decline involves less rep distance than flat bench...incline involves more shoulders...
