My diet was pretty much the same for the entire 10 weeks I was dieting down for my show...
I maintained 8-10 meals a day. I ate 25 grams of carbs twice a day (breakfast and early lunch). My protein and healthy fats took care of the rest.
I really didn't break my routine up on contest day, I had my 25 grams for breakfast (1/2 cup of oatmeal) and I SLOWLY snacked on my half sweet potato and boiled chicken prior to the show."Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength."
