What songs do you listen to when you workout?
-

I listen to the sounds of the weights clanking. I used to put on Ministry/NIN/Slayer/Chaotica, stuff like that on my MP3 player, but I can achieve a better body/mind connection without the music (I have to block out the ****ty radio station playing over the gym's PA system, though).
Always listen to rock/insdustrial/metal while doing cardio, though.

rock (metallica/acdc...etc...) is probably the best to listen to while doing cardio imo, but when i'm lifting my playlist is:
the first 2 are my fav because lil john's energy in em is just crazy.
1) lil john ft/ eastside boys & young buck - throw it up (remix)
2) lil john, trick daddy & twista - let's go (the ozzy osbourne one)
3) eminem - till i collapse
4) lloyd banks ft/ 50 and eminem - warrior remix
5) bonecrusher - never scared

Eh, so you guys lift while listening to music on your mp3 player? Don't the wires from the headphones/earphones(sp?) get in the way? Okay I don't think it would be much of a problem while doing curls or something but honestly I can't see myself deadlifting, squatting or benching with wires from the mp3 player bothering me.

Few things pump me as much as listening to Du Hast's beat blast fully through my ears as I reach down to grab the bar, get in position, and contract all of my body to bring that dead weight up... Other than, of course, a Kalmah guitar riff, or Serj Tankian screaming his lungs out in Sugar. Yes, that's the ****.
