He passed away just a few minutes ago in his home after falling into a coma late Saturday.
Rest in peace, Superman.

He's Dead? You guys are playing right. Hopefully you guys are. He was everyones hero and poor guy injured himself riding a horse. Barely made it and now has passed away. R.I.P Superman. You will be missed!

I'm not saying it's not sad that he died, but the only reason why he's concerned for the disabled is because he's disabled himself. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, because it's better than doing nothing at all. I'm just saying that he's just another celebrity that happened to fell off a horse and we really know absolutely about him unless we know him personally, like what kind of a person he really was. It always seems meaningless how people always say nice things about people that just died whom they really know nothing about, and later, chances are, he's going to be out of people's minds anyways. If anyone has nice things to say, they should've said it before he died so he might have atleast had a chance to hear it. Now he's gone, and gone forever (unless he's up in heaven living in eternal paradise, or the other way around, but atleast gone from this world physically) and there's nothing left of him but memory that will eventually be forgotten.Originally Posted by LittleRob

Just when he was gaining progress...
I just want to say though, everyone knows him as Superman first but not as Christopher Reeve - a good man, and a good husband to his wife. Behind that image, and name, there is a man whose family will miss him forever.
IMO, it's sad to see people associate him as Superman above all else. I think he should be remembered as an inspiration because he simply refused the "fact" that he couldn't walk again and fought through it all those years.

This is rough man. I idolized chirstopher reeves when i was a kid. All I cared about was superman and batman as a child. This is a shame. God bless him...the man is walking in a better place I am sure. RIP.
