Christoper Reeve 1952 - 2004
He passed away just a few minutes ago in his home after falling into a coma late Saturday.
Rest in peace, Superman.

Looks like he won't ever walk again... I mean if he does walk again then we'd have some problems.

I always thought he would walk again. Was this a sudden death or something that was sort of expected?

I didn't mean any disrespect (Reeve RIP) but if anyone took offense in what I said I apologize.

Just when he was gaining progress...
I just want to say though, everyone knows him as Superman first but not as Christopher Reeve - a good man, and a good husband to his wife. Behind that image, and name, there is a man whose family will miss him forever.
IMO, it's sad to see people associate him as Superman above all else. I think he should be remembered as an inspiration because he simply refused the "fact" that he couldn't walk again and fought through it all those years.
RIP Christopher Reeve.Last edited by Pump that iron!; 10-10-2004 at 11:54 PM.

Shame his horse wasn't Paris Hilton. His horse refused to jump the obstacle. Paris will jump anything.

Hye Ruthless I know you're trying to be like Maddox, but have some decency.

'He died in the Korean War.'
'Wow, what a coincidence. Mine was made in Korea.'
No one – and I repeat, no one – has ever died for a flag. See, a flag ... is just a piece of cloth. They may have died for freedom, which is also the freedom to burn the ****in' flag, see. That's freedom."

This is rough man. I idolized chirstopher reeves when i was a kid. All I cared about was superman and batman as a child. This is a shame. God bless him...the man is walking in a better place I am sure. RIP.
