cardio question
hi everyone, im here again! training is going well, but, can anybody tell me why when I step up the cardio my abs and glutes look great yet the rest of me seems to lose some mass! and if I do less cardio my arms/legs look meatier (in a good way) but my middle & behind seems thicker! I feel like im going round in circles!!!!! how do you get both!!!!!?????

It is probably because most people do not realize how much fat they are actually carrying. If you want to see you abs you have to be willing to lose the fat everywhere and invariably that layer of fat will make you look smaller as it shrinks from around the muscles. At a certain point the opposite happens, you get smaller but look bigger as you get to the lower body fat percentages. You have to make a choice, do I get as lean as I want or do I need more muscle before i get there. Often people need more muscle before getting to their preferred level of leaness. Or try to get there and if you are to small then bulk and try again.

aww thankyou, you guys always know how to cheer me up!! I guess its so easy to keep saying "this isnt how I want it" & "thats not how I want it" I know I have made ALOT of improvements over the last 5 or 6 months, and im learning SO much of this forum! I get so happy when I see an improvement in my legs or chest etc, then I go..."oooh I want those abs to be poppin right out - but I dont want to lose the muscle im trying to accumalate at the same time!"
