Welcome Jonny. $70 dollars a week is VERY doable. I know I actually save a ton of money because of my diet. My primary foods are chicken breast, brown rice, bananas, water, whey protein, peanut butter, cottage cheese and healthy cereal. These are all very cheap. Make sure you buy the chicken in bulk from places like Sam's club of Cost Co.

As far as the diet goes, well.. I could give you a diet but you learn SO much more in trying to get one going yourself. Read a couple threads here and all the stickys. This should get you started. When you are done, post here and you should get some great feedback.
    Good luck!

spinach, broccolli, sweet potatoes, oats, brown rice, milk, chicken, tuna, london broil, eggs, peanut butter.

that's pretty much all you need. not saying that it's the perfect diet, but if you stick to those things, you can get ripped on a low budget.

you can do alot with 70$ a week, especially a well-balanced cutting diet. Also, maybe what you mean is you do not care about putting on more muscle mass. saying decreasing your muscle mass and still wanting to see your ABs just doesnt compute.. your ABs are muscles too. Never lose weight in the expense of muscle mass, things could get ugly. Especially since maintaining your muscle mass is the #1 fat burner when trying to shed fat, you dont want to lose this advantage. hope i helped
