Alexey Lesukov (18-year old bb), Future IFBB?
(translated online from russian article)
Eighteen-year Alexey Lesukov in April won immediately several titles at competitions in bodybuilding in St. Petersburg and Murmansk. The discovery season - as was named by the Apatitys youth in the championships of the Northwest.
Will power plus character
In childhood Lesha was the usual boy: he went to the pool, studied to play on a piano. This occupation did not greatly please him, but he did not want to argue with his mom. Until a certain time.
In 13 years Lesha looked at itself in a mirror and decided that his body was suitable for development by bodybuilding. He read the necessary books and also began to go to an exercise room. Here genetics also proved useful.
- Mom was against it, - described Lesha, - even forbade it. It was necessary to go quietly to a gym, on money that the school gave out for eating.
- Who trained you?
- No one. I myself developed routines of exercises. First by myself, later a friend joined me. And in 11th class I began to prepare to attend the Academy named Lesgafta.
In the past year Alexey has gone to St. Petersburg and, certainly, at once began to work out at the nearest sports hall. Here he was noticed also by the future trainer.
The first among young men
The trainer of club "Diamond" Andrey Prokofiev (the holder of many high titles in bodybuilding) for a time observed Lesha, and then offered his services.
So the first-year student of the academy (in the future - the trainer-teacher on bodybuilding) began to combine study with daily two-hour training. It was difficult, admitted Lesha.
But Alexey was ready to April to to do the first "output on a stage". In one month he became the absolute champion among young men in the championship of the Northwest, the absolute champion of Russia in the Cup of Eastern Europe, has achieved the first place among young men and men in the championship of St. Petersburg, took the lead among young men at Murmansk competitions. For this he has received cups, medals and a rank of the Master of Sports.
The Master of Sports does not drink, does not smoke, is good himself, in general - the enviable groom.
Impact on a beautiful organism
But, as was found out, the success is given to bodybuilders not easily. Competitions are preceded with two months of rigid preparation: physical activities and special low-carbohydrate diet. One week prior to performance in a diet of sportsmen there is only fiber and not any salt! And for two days - loading by carbohydrates. Such impact on an organism is necessary, as Alexey has explained, for an increase in the muscles, indeed in bodybuilding what they evaluate.
Before competition the sportsmen get weighed, then "paint" on the skin a special cream to give to the body a bronze shade and shine. It makes the relief of muscles more visible.
On a stage bodybuilders assume some obligatory poses ? the judges evaluate the various groups of muscles, the proportions of the body. Followed is the free program - movement under music. In conclusion - one minute posedown. To this moment the sportsmen do not know the results.
Now Alexey has a rest, and will start to prepare for following competitions in the autumn. Quite probably, there in Apatitys there will be a champion of Europe.

Our Arnold, whose arms are heavy,
Vascular be thy veins
Nine sets of lunges, ten reps be done,
To add girth as it is to strengthen.
Give us this day our daily protein, and forgive us of our fats,
As we forgive those who are fat too.
And lead us not into overtraining, nor deliver us pizzas,
For thou art the king of the dumbell, the power clean, and the steroids forever,
Amen.

The only disadvantage is his height, not sure but I thought he was around 1.60 m./1.65 m. In this picture he's smaller than the girl.

+ the fact he's probably juiced a lot at his young age can spoil his chances for the future. What do you think?

Damn and at 18! So when did he start his 1st cycle at 14? Probably why he so short.

Human Genius
An amazing physique. His arms are very Arnoldesque. He would look a little better if his trunks were a higher cut, they seem to give his torso too much length.

I expect a lot of "steroid" comments about this thread, but this kid still has an amazing physique for 18. That's amazing!

JACKED FIBRAZ?
He has torn his pec so I would count him out for a while. And regardless of whose feelings this is going to hurt, all that juice will catch up with him sooner or later.

Couldnt stop thinking about Ivan Drago when i read that. Incredible development, but i think he should have kept training until he met his natural potential, then started juicing. Dorian proved that starting steroids later is not that much of a handicap.

Yeah, no kidding eh. This sub-forum wreaks of ignorance
That kid looks absolutely amazing though. I'm not an expert on tanning or contest prep, but I think his colour looks righteous!! How come I haven't heard of this brother until now!?!?
People always over-react about potential, like the case with Trey Brewer, but if this kid can do more growing and doesn't fukc up his physique, I think we can expect big things. Lots of prospects screw up their package and don't deliver. Maybe this lad will keep it together.

His height will be his limiting factor same with Priest. They get shafted no matter what.

Is that the problem with our sport tho - he HAS to pack on more muscle just to compete with the big guys!
IMO, the guy looks just great as he is, and his physique is worthy of many victories. Obviously he can improve his conditioning, he's prob about 90% of his full potential in terms of bf%. but there shouldnt be much for hmi to do to be top class... but that way the sport works, he'll probably have to add another 20lbs at least just to even get noticed in America. shame

You guys shouldn't assume that because someone is chieseled and muscular at a young age he is on steroids. This guy is an Olympian in the making, and it's all because of genetics. Do you even think guys his age can afford Creatine, Whey, etc. in Russia? Maybe if he has sponsors, but hey, he's still an amateur.
I've seen pictures of Lee Priest when he was 18 (already winning some major competitions) and he looked a tad freakier, but this guy has much better proportions and aesthetics. I don't see any weaknesses, but his chest might develop into a freaky bodypart if he keeps it up.

Get your facts straight pal.. This guy if far, FAR beyond the point of muscle mass any man could ever naturally achieve. Any sane man who knows a tiny bit about bodybuilding knows this ain't natural.

Good statement.
People jump to conclusions way to often and not adding in the other factors.
