Ok, this is rather frustrating. I do BF% tests and read at about 13%, I have two abs visible when flexed (top 2) and have got a pretty decent amount of muscle after weighing 270 lbs and going to 170 however, I can't tell if whats left is skin or fat.
Pretty much whats annoying is the fact that whenever I take my shirt off etc people say I have alot of loose skin, now personally unless I bend over it isn't blatantly obvious well acctually it isn't obvious at all in my own eyes but its frustrating because when I bend over the fat/skin hangs extremely loose now, I'm not sure if its because I lost alot of weight and the fat is just spread out or if its just skin.
(I can also pull my skin/fat extremely easily, it isn't very attached I can probaly pull the skin/fat on my triceps 3 inches down when doing a bicep flex however, if I don't pull it it is perfectly attached and you could never tell somethings wrong.)
I know what loose skin looks like and I may have a little bit but I sure as hell don't have alot from my point of view, I have seen pictures of people with loose skin and it hangs extremely loose no matter what they are doing and it also folds over, while mine just stays in sort of a blob.
I realize that without pictures this is challenging but personally I can not tell if this is fat or skin because it could be fat thats extremely elastic or loose skin that is extremely odd (I pray its fat because I would really hate to work this hard and then have it impossible for me to get a 6 pack etc due to skin)
So my question is: Is there any way to tell whether something is loose skin or fat? I could go to a doctor but personally I am not very fond of wasting 25 dollars and 2 hours of my time to be told by someone clueless on the subject to see a specialist or a "maybe".
Now, currently I am bulking so these things are not major concerns to me but when I do finally cut I do not want to cut from a small amount of loose skin/low amount of fat to alot of loose skin and hardly any fat (personally fat looks better then skin lol)
I guess what I should ask is, is it natural after loosing alot of weight for the skin to be extremely elastic and have the fat more spread out or am I just lieing to myself and do I really have loose skin?
(If anyone who lost alot of weight that has a 6 pack etc could answer this question it would be nice to know if they have this elasticity issue also hehe)
I apologize if I got confusing I find it hard to get my point across in writing without going into extreme detail/blabbing on about random stories ^^
