Hey simple question - I am on a keto diet and know that a good post workout shake should have 30 grams dextrose and 30 grams protein.
Question 1:
Should I use regular whey or whey isolate? The whey isolate 520 from p r o t e i n f a c t o r y . c o m looked like it would be better than regular whey, but more expensive.
Question 2:
Should I split the 30 g carbs to 15 dextrose and 15 maltodextrin? I read, i think on a v a n t l a b s . c o m that a certain cell saturation point is reached with either dextrose or malto.
Question 3:
I read before that some people use juicy juice for their sugar, how much juicy juice = 30 grams (in fluid measurement), and is this as effective as straight up powdered dext or malto?
Thanks

I can only answer 2 of those for you buddy. WPI is a fast absorbing protein, so i think you should stick with whey after lifting. Using fruit punch is ok, but i perfer apple juice or straight dextrose. Some will say grape juice, but it will tend to give you the runs. I don't know the exact grams, but i only use 1 tablespoon of dex with my creatine. I'm sure someone will be around to give you the exact grams.
