No... there is nothing to support that creatine will help you loose weight. It will increase muscle size because it hydrates your muscle fiber (water retention).

Because the water is in the muscle not sitting on top of the muscle (between muscle and skin) it will bring out some definition. Muscle doesn't turn into fat. Fat stores are great energy fuel for working out.

Hey, I think creatine can help you...it may be the long way around, but it will last longer. Creatine will assist in gaining muscle mass associated with a solid diet and training plan. Yes water weight will be there, but after you stop taking it, your muscle gains will remain.
Muscle requires more energy(ie calories), therefore, by increasing your lean muscle, you are increasing your metabolism...

    Good Luck

    Yes...

Creatine increases lean muscle mass - lean muscle burn calories - thus burning more fat ;;; so yes in a sense creatine does burn fat - with the right diet , exercise etc.

but not directly - it is not a miracle supp. it increases the muscles ability to capacatate water - thus creating a more annabolic enviroment, makng muscle grow - it also enhances performance

if you really want to lose fat, get hold of some ephedrine, take it with a fat loss pill - ephedrine was band in april, but with the righ connection, (pharmacists) you can get- it is quite dangerous though

It will take a bit, if you are looking for a quick fix, change your diet and increase your cardio...if you are in it for the long haul, the creatine will help, but you still need to watch your diet....

And if you stop taking creatine, but keep working out, the muscle mass will stay, the water will leave making you look more cut.
