Anyone here collect baseball, basketball, football cards etc?

I'm a real big collector of baseball cards and football cards, but I like getting the game-used and autograph pieces.

I personally have autographed cards of Sandy Koufax(like the first image), tom brady and game used bat card from the 1950's of Mickey Mantle.

Today the companies are Topps and Upper Deck....and they produce some the most amazing cards available to date.


They even have Babe Ruth cards with pieces of his jersey....they are making a card that has a piece of DNA of George Washinton. lol (which I want)

I was into it from 87-93, still have all my collection in storage. I have full sets of all football/baseball main brands from that entire era and other good ones from the 80s. I think it is around 30K cards. I was good friends with several dealers so got quite a bit. I also have a lot of rare memorabilia.

yes the card would have been worth a lot more then I have it as well. My Bonds card is probably going to devalue as well b/c of steroids. I think the 89 Griffey Jr. Will end up a lot of money, same with 82 ripken.

Yeah I pulled a joe montana autograph out of 91 upperdeck football. Was worth quite a bit back then. I also used to go to card shows and get autographs pretty frequently, I've got 100s.

I always wanted the Bonds rookie, I could care less about the steroids stuff. But its true it will probably devalue. Maybe in like 10 or 20 years they'll go up again...lol.

Complete sets SEALED of 1982-1989 of Topp, Donruss, and Fleer. I was a COMPLETE nerd when I used to hit the flea markets in the mid 80s.
Whatever rookie cards are in those sets I have as well I guess, I quit looking the values after the whole fiasco with gear, I knew it would make the values go down......

I have a whole bunch of mid/late 70s cads as well, come to think of it I have not looked through my collection in like 8 years, lol.

I haven't bought any in years, but I have a lot of good cards, mainly baseball. I have a lot of rookies including Dan Marino, John Elway, Joe Montana, Ken Griffey Jr., Wade Boggs, Ozzie Smith, A-Rod, Jeter, McGwire, Dirk, McGrady, etc. and probably about 20-30 autos and game worn cards.

Thats pretty sweet, I dont think I even have a gameused card of Griffey...but I do have his fleer rookie card, fresh from an unopen pack.

honestly, if it's a card that is in high demand I'd sell it on ebay. Card shops will give you nothing and Card shows tend to sell cards cheaper than Stores so they'll buy it at a cheap price also
