ya well you'd be surprised how many people don't put those two together, realizing that being a "dead lift" you are lifting off the ground, each and every rep...
Truthfully, I don't even think most personal trainers know this is the proper technique. I see many teaching their clients to using a mixed grip, while pulling the bar back up once it reaches just below the knee. In my opinion, you neglect the bottom portion of the lift, which would involve the largest muscle in the body, the gluteus maximus.Team Scivation Member- What I like to call "Culking"...cutting while bulking ;)

The question is not whether or not the smith machine is effective, the real question is are you eating enough for it to be effective? -me
