I take it you are Canadian [me too!!].
Can Fit Pro ain't THAT great, nor is the "certification" provided by individual Provinces. The exception would be Alberta, because they actually require you to give a crap about what you are learning. It requires a 2 year commitment, in Alberta. I passed my Personal Trainer Certification at the University of Victoria, in about 3 months. I'm also Can Fit Pro certified. I don't know jack about personal training. But I did it.
If you were going to go with that type of certification, rather than getting a degree in kines, or physiology, or something, I'd really go with ACE, at least, as is is internationally recognized.
You mentioned your age, too. Being younger is better, if you're going to work in a club. Doesn't that sound superficial?? It is. I'm always asked if I train clients, at my gym, because I'm young[ish. I used to be young. I'm old, now], pretty, and in decent shape. So that's working for you!!
