Body Fat?

ok I am new to this so I don't have any idea what that means. ^_^;

i took an online test here

http://www.healthcentral.com/cholest...-2774-143.html

and the results it gave me are these

You have 15.6% body fat.

You have 20.3 Pounds of fat and 109.7 Pounds of lean (muscle, bone, body water).

can anyone give me an idea how good/bad this is? and a little bit more information? thank you.

That site is inaccurate. You can't determine your bodyfat by just punching numbers in. Try to get tested using either skinfold calipers, or better yet - hydrostatic weighing (only this method is expensive, but the most accurate).

Scroll down to the chart here to have a look at the healthy bodyfat ranges for specific age groups.

If you must use an online calculator, at least use one that includes some body measurements. You can't tell a person's body fat percentage even remotely based on just their height and weight.

This one is decent, just scroll down to the female section and use the "tape measurement" method.

my digital scale says it calculates body fat percentage, do you guys give any credit to scales that do that? I've entered in my height and age so I guess it has some idea, but I'm not really sure.
