    AM Lifting and PM Cardio

Due to a new work schedule and a new bench, I am debating whether I want
to change my lifting schedule. I was thinking about lifting before work and then doing cardio after work.
    What do you think?

That's what I do. I just do better when I lift earlier in the day- have more motivation, etc. For cardio it doesn't seem to matter either way.

I've read that am cardio is preferable for fat burning, but that may be some old wives tale.

Honestly, it doesn't matter at ALL!! As long as you are consistent and it fits into your day well, then you will see results!

Thats not true, the EPOC (afterburn) of weight lifting is much higher than cardio and also much longer - the EPOC for cardio has been over estimated even for HIIT and only lasts a couple of hours while the EPOC for lifting can last as long as 15+ hours depending on how intensly you lift.

I lift in the AM and cardio in the PM, unless I'm off from lifting that day and its not a complete rest day, then Ill just do cardio in the AM usually
