CLA -does it work?

just bought some and about to start it, wondering if anyone has used it long or short term and what did you notice? does it really aid in fat loss? thanks!

I think they have overpromoted it as something more than what it really is. Healthy fats are always a good thing to add but the hype with CLA made it seem like it was a great stand alone product which honestly you would add with other compounds.

For long-term use in the fat burning department CLA is the best. You do not have to cycle off of it like all other fat burners, and it is natural...meaning you can take it well into your 90's; if you live that long. But CLA needs a component to aid in it's flushing "fat" out of your system...out of your body. CLA brakes up the fat in your body, but does not flush it out. Creatine is a very component to help CLA flush the fat out of your system.

I tried it, but I looked up the study that "proved" its benifits. I took the recommended 3.4 grams per day, actually higher because with a little math if only 75 to 85% concentration per 1000mg capsule, you cant be exact, so I overestimated just in case. Also a specific CLA formula was used in the study (Tonalin). Essentially I decided try to recreate the study on myself to see if it worked.

Sorry no answer from me, I had to stop about 3 weeks in because it made my intestines and lower back(wierd) hurt. The day I stopped taking it I was fine again. Anyone else have this problem???

P.S. I was told to take it with L-Carnitine to move the fat
