Bicep & Tricep isolation = unecessary?

I do my Shoulders Chest & Triceps together - so does that mean I have to do tricep isolation considering I do compound exercises for both Chest & Shoulders?

I do my Biceps & Back together - so does that mean I have to do bicep isolation? or does lat pulldowns & bent over bb rows do enough to train my biceps?

Depends on you . I personally do Chest/Bi and Back/Tri, instead of the other way around. Since they're basically opposite muscle groups (push/pull, vice versa), I can focus and target the muscle groups more effectively. I've tried the chest/tri, back/bi method, and I found that my tri's and bi's lag after doing all that pushing and rowing. So I adapted to the new method, and I haven't looked back since .

If I didn't do isolation, I would have stick arms.

interesting, I do it the other way around because it made more sense to me because back exercises wokr your bic and most chest exercises work your tric. But you theory makes some sence too.

Pullups have worked great for me. I mean wide grip pull downs should be pretty good. But I like to do isolation for my biceps/ticeps just because I want as big of arms/a peak as I can get.
