Deodorant/Anti-perspirant

Does anyone know of a good deodorant/anti-antiperspirant that isn't harsh on the skin?

I have sensitive skin and the ones I use gives me skin burns. I use lady's speed stick and Tom's natural care of Maine.

I'm not good with brands but have you tried the non-deodorant route e.g. making a baking soda paste for washing? Or there are some chrystals that you can wet and rub on the skin as anti-perspirants

Will baking soda last all day? It's pretty hot in houston and extremly humid. I don't know anything about crystals.

The crystals are great! Uh, I've been known to use mine on my stinky feet! Go to drugstore.com and look them up. You can also buy at most health food stores and many grocery stores too.

i used to have that problem and i thought it was the type of deodorant i was using, but i think it was the fact that my pits needed exfoliated just like other areas of my body. may sound crazy, and maybe it's just me, but i started using one of those "floofy" things to wash with instead of a washcloth and the irritated underpit problem went away ??? weird!
also, i will say that i LOVE the new secret clinical strength. it is definitely worth the extra cash!!!

I wear secret invisable solid...I used to have a very hard time finding a good deoderant--but this one works sooo well and feels great on my skin. It has to be invisable solid though...the gel stuff irritates my skin and feels gross.

I wear boy deoderant, Old Spice...I like it better...I don't sweat or anything.

I think that'd be really distracting for me...I'd be trying to smell myself all day, LOL!

LOL..yeah I smell like a guy, just in that area, and I don't mind, sometimes I'll just be sitting somewhere and I'll be like "hmm someone smells really good" (Like a good smelling boy) yeah it's a total blonde moment...but girl deoderant doesn't work for me when I workout.

I've noticed that too! I also lay in the tanning bed (bad, i know) and its like the uv rays kill the deodorant so I'm super stinky after that..I keep a stick of deodorant in my locker at work and the gym, lol!

Yeah tanning beds are awful...Guy deoderant works great...I used my brothers one time and was hooked. No one notices the smell but you, and guys if they do smell it they don't mind it. LOL...the only thing is I put lotion on everynight because your armspits can get dried out from it, but nothing lotion can't fix and I put lotion on every night anyways LOL
But I dont have to add more at all, I can tan (when I do) workout and I wont sweat or smell once. LOL

I looked up the crystals on drugstore.com and they're very cheap, a lot cheaper than I expected. I'll look for it next time I go out.

Hugs: I feel you the gel stuff takes a while to dry and can sometimes make me feel sticky.

I've "borrowed" the manly pit-stick a time or two, and have wound up doing the same thing! Looking around like a dork thinking to myself "dang, someone smells GOOD!" - and there is nobody there but me.

On a sidenote, I'm beginning to think that man deodorant is no longer working for MY MAN when he works out. I swear, sometimes I wonder if he even puts any on before his workouts!

At least I can be secure in the knowledge that while chicks may admire him from afar, once they get up close they will hastily retreat! (of course, my evil glare may have something to do with that too!)

LOL he probably needs to change it up, our bodies get use to that kinda stuff.
