I was thinking of looking to get one of these one day, but my problem is that I hate the ricer boy / trailer park Fast and the Furious wannabe image associated with tuner cars. (While I do know they are completely different than your average Civic or Integra) What do you guys think of them?

Evo is my dream car, but i would only get that if youre going like full pro racing just because of the ride it is. Pretty sure Subu would be better for normal car because the handling is a lot better and its just a homier car all around, lot safer too, subarus known for that.
Yeah if you were to pour a lot of money and time into an evo it would be unstoppable

Well, I just want a somewhat affordable badass car without looking like a ricer ***got.
I like the Evo's body style better but I'll have to wait and see the 2008 STI.Matt Ryan is the truth.

One thing you're forgetting to mention is that the STI or the Evo will rape any Mustang, even the Cobra GT 500 on a track course and in a drag race.
I'm saying this from car reports not from personal experience.
However if I could have one car under 100k I'd so get a z06 Corvette, it's better looking and faster than anything under 100k.Matt Ryan is the truth.

Both are loud, crude and unrefined high maintenance vehicles. However, if you want speed and handling but don't want to be taken to the bank. These are good choices.
If your want truly refined comfort that's as comfortable on the twisties as it is at the theater, go for the VW GTI or the Honda Civic Si. Although the VW's a bit more sophisticated and roomy
p.s. I know it's not as fast, but the R32 will narrow the gap a bit moreLast edited by KRANE; 06-21-2007 at 09:47 PM.

lol qft. I cant tell you how many times I'm driving, some kid in his ****ing beaner civic wants to race me in my 90 300zx, gets smoked. I'm not saying my car is fast but for its age and price, good first driver. I paid 3.7k and it has just over 240 HP, t tops, leather, power everything very upgradeable and reliable.

I work with a girl who owns an 06 gt, its nice but slow compared to say my co workers 3000gt vr4. and that car is 15 years old. turbo>all **** Superchargers
