Ok i have been doing BFL for about three months. NOTHING IS CHANGING EX that fact that im stronger. I waigh the same and messurments are the same. My trainner and I have tried to tweek everything. More food, less food. more cardo. .... Still nothing. Im still a very big girl. My last straw was last week when i went to my reg doctor and he said that you are 38 body fat and due to fat genes you may be a fat healthy person forever. I have been small 2 more times before that was from starving myself to death. . I have work out hard 2 times a day now. Anybody going threw the samething??? Now im on my last straw diet. A women bodybuilder told me to do packaged foods only. That way you can pin pont your food intake to the T. Im at about 2000 cal a day now. This was a lot for me before. She stated that i was starving myself. Help. Any good words of advise???

If you give us more information - what you do in terms of eating (when, what, how much) and exercise (when, what, how much) and information about yourself (age, height, weight) then we can help you out a little more.
Also - I am not sure why your doctor would say you are 'genetically obese'... Not really many 'TRUE' cases of this in the world... Have they tested you for things such as diabetes, cushings disease, hypothyroidism or PCOS?

working out twice a day will probably not bring you closer to your goals.
by the way, please post your goals along with your stats and your workout schedule and diet. without those things nobody can give you any meaningful advice. post a full body pic or two and some of the diet experts can help you with a very accurate asessment of your bf% situation.
i agree with emma, i have never actually met or heard proof of anyone who is in a helpless situation because of genetics. i have met MANY who's diet and exercise programs make no sense.
packaged foods only is a very bad idea.
developing obsessions concerning calorie calculations and bf% is also a very bad idea. these pieces of information are useful, but they are only tiny pieces of a large puzzle. they do not dominate any important decisions for a healthy physique trainer.
bfl may be okay for some folks, but hard gainers need an intense and precisely tergeted program.
p.s. if you are tweaking your program and diet a bunch of times in only 3 months, THAT IS TOALLY WRONG! you have to give things a chance to work. you have no idea now whether any of the stuff you have done is effective because it has not had the time to show results. also keep a journal of your exercise and diet. fire that bonehead "trainer".

Hey girl
I hear the desperation. I agree with the replies so far... you need to post your stats,etc.. and no packaged foods.
What I learned to do when things got insane ("stop the insanity!" - remember that?) is back up, clear my head, and get back down to the bare basics.
Ask yourself "what does my body need to survive" Then educate yourself..
Read. That's how I learned - I read books and then put what I read into action.
Thing is, the needs of the human body have not really changed since early man, but our lifestyles and cultures have.
Your body needs 6 elements: vitamins, minerals, carbs, protein, fat, and water. How much of each of these elements do you need? You need to figure that by documenting how much activity you engage in each day.
Also, start writing down exactly what you put into your mouth every day for 3 weeks. I know it's a pain, but it is so worth it. If you are not keeping a food diary now, you will be surprised at what you may be mindlessly munching on without a second thought. Mindless munching. Addictive. Gotta take back control.
Never give up and you win.
You have the power - believe that you do.
You will make it to your goal.
**I am competing in my first figure competition this Saturday and I am 53 years old. I'll post some pics when it's over.
God is good - Jesus is real.
Blessings always
