    training whilst injured

Is it a good idea to do some light weightlifting whilst injured just to prevent some atrophy? I am thinking along the lines of lifting half of what you normally would? or should all training be avoided?

    Thank you

    depends on the injury...

but if its pretty serious, i wouldnt risk making it worse.

if we're talking a short term injury, you wont lose as much muscle/strength as you think.. if anything, a break could be good..
