Seems about right, the bell at the Arnolds last year comes to mind, 3'' handle 90kg or 198lbs.
I'm also very interested to see who'll be the first to press the millennium bell at 228lbs.

172 or 173lbs depending on the replica mine weighs 79.5kg/175 i weighed it it is actually 3lb overweight. I have come very very close to pressing it on 3 occasions. My arm has straightened fully, but i haven't help it at the top long enough for a convincing lockout. I'm not very strong though and i don't train a lot other than grip these days, no way is an inch press world class for a strongman.

Depends on your weight. Disregarding all weight restrictions, world class is 250 pounds and upwards. I'm talking about side presses included here. Not sure how strict on form you're referring to.

Some numbers ...
A few years ago, "the strongest man alive" contest featured a 1 arm DB press for max weight as an event. The weakest guy in the contest pressed 100lbs, the strongest, I believe 170 or 180. So I'd say an Inch press (173) is pretty good. Is it World Class? Probably not, but it certainly puts you into "serious strongman" territory. Pressing the 190ish circus DB is certainly world class. Mariusz Pudz FAILED to get a single rep with it at the Arnold's in 2005. To the best of my knowledge no one has pressed the 228lb Millenium bell. If anyone can do it I'd put my money on either Big Z or Hugo Girard (perhaps Glenn Ross as well ... not sure how much Ross is training these days).
The heaviest true 1 arm shoulder press I've ever heard of was 210 by Whit Baskin.
Bent presses are a different animal, since you're doing most of the lifting with your torso as opposed to your delts and triceps. Some of the old time strongmen could hit over 300 pounds on the bent press. I think the all time record is actually over 400.
Very few people train bent press today though, so I doubt anyone could move those kinds of numbers.

Doug Hepburn was doing 250+ pound one arm presses. Marvin Eder at 200 bwt was able to side press 220 pounds. And Paul Anderson could do atleast 240, just maybe not for the 40 reps he's credited with...

Near 200 so i'd say 180-190lbs sounds about right for a world class one arm strict press. I find this topic interesting because I train these! I garauntee I could put 85 overhead(with some body twist but NO legs) 80 strict for sure if I had DB's that heavy to play with, I've strict pressed a 75 for 3 reps each arm before. Just bragging but regarding history I'd look at guys like Serge Redding or Vasily Alexeev, they competed in olympic weightlifting when the clean and PRESS was an event. Check out these videos, Serge pushes it up "easy" with no leg drive after a clean so easy it looked like a broomstick!

I know they didn't train OApresses but I don't know if they ever competed in some side exhibition or something. I'd say that Serge is good for at least 190lbs the way he pressed 502.5!

I will put my money on it that Magnus Samuelsson and Mark Henry could press the Millenium Bell.

I one arm strict pressed 120 for a few reps and I'm hardly anywhere near world class. Taking bodyweight out of the equation, I think a 200 pound press is fairly "easy" to attain for the big men. Not a super strict military press. Hepburn I believe did 175-185 or even higher in the strict press. With a bit of tilt he went well over 200 pounds, as did Paul Anderson. Louis Cyr and his protege could jerk/press over 274 pounds each. No bent pressing there but no strict pressing either.

Arthur Saxon was one of the greatest bent pressers of all time; he is credited with an unofficial lift of 386 pounds - he challenged ANYONE to beat this record and to my knowledge no one ever did.

I agree, esp. w/ Mark Henry. He is insanely powerful and has awsome brute strength even without training, so I'd say with constant training he would put up numbers noone today can even come close to.
Too bad he doesnt train anymore... :'( , but he goes where the money's at.

I suppose we should also qualify it with strict or push press, as well. Which do you mean, OP?

For a long while the one arm strict ( feet together no side bending) military press was 154 pounds set by Carl Witzleberger (sp..). Hepburn was credited with a 175+ pound military press, but I don't know how strict it was.

Well, if anyone can strict press an Inch DB one handed they certainly get my respect big time!
