Lightbulb question

I have been weight-lifting for about 10 weeks now. All of my compound movements have gone up in the amount of weight I can lift. Also people can see changes in how I look with muscle mass increase. My question is that my body weight has not gone up during this time. It has stayed pretty much constant around 180. Why might this be happening?
