How many calories -lean out diet
Hey all,
first of all want to say that it is great to see a space where people help each other out on this quest of attaining our body ideals. My question is this: I used to have a relatively easy time getting lean, by doing pre-breakfast cardio, lifting heavy for my workout and eating my high protein and veggie meals with some oatmeal and protein for breakfast, stevia as my sweetner and coconut oil as my good fat - But now I've not been dieting for a while, have gained about 9 pounds of body fat I need to lose ASAP and am having a hard time-- A. confused as to how many calories I should consume and B. work on a tv set so am around food ALL day, it's been really difficult to diet. Anyone have any advice?

We need more info to advise you.
1) Stats are needed, current height & weight, bodyfat % if known.
2) Activity level - typical week
3) What your typical day's diet has been over the past week.
Then we can suggest something for you.

cool, okay:
i'm 5'5" and 128 lbs, but i used to be 120 which is where i'm happier. i do resistance training 4 to 5 times a week, heavy focusing on one area of the body, and now that i'm going to diet i'll add in prebreakfast cardio 4 or 5 times a week.
here's what i'm thinking of doing for my diet, (as for what i've been eating lately it was this plus steak dinners, desserts and other bad things! that's why i have to tighten up now!)
meal 1:-1 cup plain oatmeal with handful raisins and splash almond milk, 2 hard boiled eggs, 1/2 piece fruit
meal 2:- handful of almonds
meal 3: chicken breast, salad, brocoli, chocolate rice cake
meal 4: protein shake, green apple, spoonful coconut oil w stevia
meal 5: fish or chicken breast, asparagus or salad
meal 6: 1/2 cup cottage cheese, stevia, cinnamon
-how does that sound?

Steak dinners and dessert.......what's his name?
With out getting very complicated, by judging your avatar and what you say. I believe you just need some motivation to back on your regime, hope you enjoyed the time off.....

thankyou! that avatar was from when i'm 8-9 pounds leaner, so i decided to change it to a current pic, since i'm on here asking for leaning out advice! want to get back to that, i notice when i'm not as lean it really shows in my face, though i stay firm all over. was dieting but just ate a tonne of mnms and peanuts and peanut butter - uggg. hate the binge factor. Okay, and i'm back to dieting! good luck with your training!
