    Talking How much protein is enough?

    Hello everyone. I'm a newbie also. I've read lots of articles on supplementaion, diet, workouts, etc. but can't figure out how to tailor protein into my diet correctly. I am 5'5'', weigh 127 pounds. To have this work correctly how much do I need? Can anyone help me figure that out. Thanks.

    127 grams out to do it. 1 gram for every pound you weigh.

    You can grow on 127 grams. You can up it to 1.5 grams, but if you're natural 1.0 is enough. If you're on the sauce, go with 1.5.

    I want to GAIN really. I've been called "stickly" so everyone I ask suggest that I take lots of protein in to get some shape. Just don't know how much to take for results.

    Protein alone will not do it. You need the right combination of protein, carbs and healthy fats. Read some of the posts by other ladies on here. These gals are the greatest and really know their stuff. If you do the homework by reading through the threads, you'll learn an awful lot.
