    How should i feel after a workout?

    Iv been following an HST program and push myself hard during my workouts.

    Not long after my workouts i feel as if i havent done anything at all. My muscles feel slightly tighter i.e. if i straighten out my arm i can feel it in my bicep, but its not a great great deal.

    If im carrying anything heavy my arms do seem to tire easier but apart from that i dont feel much.

    Am i doing enough in my workouts or do i just have a good recovery rate?

    Well Personally with myself! When i Seem to get better gains when i dont train to failure or when my arms hurt for 3 days! Keep up the same amount of work for 3-4 weeks see what happens ! if nothing happens go more intense or addmore reps!

    You should know whether or not your doing enough, if you train with 110% intensity, you will feel it. It sounds like your not getting much pump, more intensity.

    you know sometimes after working out it feels like ive spent the last hour doing nothing like you said, but ive still been seeing great gains.

    on HST if you are doing below your max then yeah of course you will be having some lighter sessions that dont leave you feeling crippled. as long as you are putting the effort into your sets you will be fine.
