    Talking 5 1/2 weeks to go!

    Hey all! Well I am 5 1/2 weeks out from only my 2nd show - excited, a little grumpy at times, but hanging in there - my question - when should I cut out things like Splenda and diet soda - I have 1-2 diet sodas/day and usually put splenda in my oatmeal and/or crm wht. I have already cut out fruit and dairy (almond milk rocks...) - what do you guys do 5 weeks out?

    I usually cut out diet soda at 4 weeks. i will still use splenda though but for peak week-final week, no splenda, nada, nothing but water and then i switch to dandelion tea to assist in water depleting. I'm 3.5 weeks out so i am just drinking my water and tea with a little splenda.

    Myself, I usually cut my diet sodas out 7 days before the show and have nothing but 2 gallons of water. I keep Splenda up to the show as I do not use a whole bunch of it. We add dandelion root and uva ursi on Wed. along with Potassium up to the show to aid in pulling more water off. Also switch to nothing but fish and ground turkey that last week.

    It really depends on how your body reacts to things. If you're working with someone that is doing your prep., follow what they say! A week out isn't time to try new things, that should be done now.
