Digital Camera

I was wondering if anyone has seen that new Sony CyberShot Digital Camera?? It retails for aobut $499.99 plus tax and other stuff? Well I bid on one today on E-bay and won it for $406.00 it comes with

The high-end camera that fits in your back pocket. Sony’s DSC-T1 features a huge 5.1 Megapixel resolution, 3X Optical Zoom, and a 2.5” Hybrid LCD Monitor, all in a package the size of a credit card. The T1 even packs extra features you would normally expect on a camera twice its size, such as a high-quality Carl Zeiss® Vario-Tessar® Lens, Sony’s high-speed Real Image Processor, 5 Area Multi-Point Focus. It is even able to capture full screen VGA (640x 480) video at an astounding 30 frames per second. It’s twice the camera at half the size.

so should I pay for it or what?!?! You prolly seen it on TV its the one with the slide down front screen and really big LCD dispal

thats ****ing awesome.... IMO if someone has money to waste on a 300 dollar ipod, they might as well go with a product that does something worth while...

1) 300 bucks is like half the price of a decent desktop computer... to pay that for an mp3 player is quite simply to throw money away.. 30 gigs of songs? who really needs that much space? most people have about 20 or so songs that they listen to a lot, and the rest they dont really use... then when a new song comes out they download that and ignore anotehr song... so its pointless to have 30 gigs, you'll never even come close to using it.. ive got an old 128meg player, i haven filled that yet because i keep rotating new songs and getting rid of old ones i dont listen to

2) the purpose of an mp3 player is portable music if your on the go a lot... the ipod is a bulky hard drive based system, making it pointless if you wanna take it jogging... if your gonna listen to it while in your bedroom, you allready have a computer, why not just plug your earphones into your laptop and listen to music like that

Hmm... I guess I agree with you. I was just asking because I just bought one.

1) I listen to music a lot. I have over 1000 songs on my computer, and I listen to most of them. It would be almost impossible to sort all of the songs and burn them to CD's, it would take forever will all of the sorting, burning, labeling, etc. I've downloaded most of my songs since December, when I got high speed interent, so I know I will be downloading lots to come.

2) My computer is in my basement, and sometimes its just uncomfortable to sit down here just to listen to music. I guess I don't think the ipod is that bulky either, but thats just personal preference I guess. And 128megs wouldnt be enough for me anyway.

But again, its just personal preference. I would think spending 400 dollars on a digital camera is a waste, because I don't take many pictures.
