i have a question. does my body go into starvation mode if i eat at 8am and until 4pm i don't eat nothing ( just water ) and after a small meal i go to gym and train hard and at 9 pm i eat again something light. the total cal. a day is around 1200-1400.

True starvation mode takes a while longer than 8 hours That's more like temporary fasting - which can be benefical in its own right.

yes it does. nutritionists say u should eat something every 3 hours of the day. so whether you're eating a protein bar or a light meal it is still good to have some type of food.

No starvation mode doesn't happen in a day, you'll be ok.

a lot of Yes/No differences already! I'd say ACTUAL starvation takes longer than 8 hours...BUT, your metabolism will be better off if you split your meals as evenly as possible over 5 or so a day IMO. Typically, less than 1300-1400 cals a day can be considered 'starvation' depending on your size, but since you're only 120 some odd pounds, you may be ok... do you feel hungry between 8 am and 4pm? If yes, then eat a little something...

LOL... do you even know what starvation mode is? Yes, one should eat, but your body is not going to start significantly eating away at itself after 8 hours.

Donkey Bile is one of the most nutritious foods you can consume, very low calories. While in starvation mode, donkey bile can be consumed.

Out of curiosity, why do you go so long w/o eating?

i starved for 3 days on a 1000 calorie diet and got pretty ripped. i kinda cycled it though so i did it once every 2 weeks and got really shredded. low carbs, low fat, and 100g of protein worked well for me.
