Squishy Fat!
I just have to vent about something here for a minute cause I know you girls will understand...
I'm 2 weeks out from my last competition of the season and the remaining body fat I have has turned completely squishy and jiggly!! I know this is supposedly a GOOD sign as it means the fat is breaking down into fatty acids to be metabolised, but STILL. I feel like I look worse right now that when I was 5lbs heavier! God...

Yeah, sometimes it looks worse before it looks better.

Just taking a moment to say you look great in your photos, and I didn't see any any signs of jiggly fat. I was hoping someone could explain why squishy fat is a good sign? There are obese people who don't have squishy fat, but have plenty of fat which "appears" almost solid and barely moves? What causes that, and does that mean it will be more difficult to lose the fat?

Well, when you gain fat, unless you gain a TON of fat, you just increase the size of existing fat cells, and this makes the fat thicker.
