I'm 15 years old, about 10%bf, and 150lbs, and I'm trying to put some more muscle on. I'm currently taking creatine, whey protein, and some amino acids. I want to add one more supplement into my diet, something that is a muscle builder, like NO2, or Animal Stak or something, can anyone recommend something good? Also, is hGH effective? If so, is it safe for a 15 year old. Just wondering.
Thanks

prohormones for teenagers are pretty risky. With male teenagers testosterone levels being soo high (puberty), you can really damage your internal organs from the added boost of more testosterone.
the best muscle building supplements have to be:
Whey Protein- the best for real mass
Creatine
**No2** the best
and sometimes glutamine

NO2 isnt a testoterone booster, it's main ingredient is arginine, which is an amino acid, which increases blood flow, hence more blood is pumped to the muscles, i wouldnt get the no2 from gnc, too expensive, buy cold fusion or syntrax nitrous on bb.com, only 30 bucks plus shipping. But i wouldnt take zma either, your hormones are already at a high, get your diet right, get ON 100% whey protein and a multivitamin, and a good w/o.

Seeing as how you're 15, your testosterone levels are higher now than they will be for nearly the rest of your life. Your body is still growing, and a perfect body is nearly unnachievable. The supplements you are taking are great, and adding more at this stage is not going to help out too much - but they will tax your wallet. Read the stickies on prohormones, I hope that steers you away from them - at least for the next 6 years.
A good supplement? Lots of rest.
As it's been said - Creatine and Protein powder (and a multivitamin [which should include some zma as part of the package] are almost all you need.I am pretty strong. And I'm legal.

Quit with the test booster stuff. I don't wanna be rude here, but you are 15 years old. Do you even realize how much test you have, and will produce in the coming years? Look man, if you aren't muscle-bound like an adult it's because you're not one, you are a kid. I guarantee you will put on so much size in the next few years just from growing into a man. You honestly do not need another supplement. What you have is fine. Just eat right and work hard, think about test supplements later. And ZMA really isn't worth a ****, and no it won't give you acne. It would only have an impact on test levels if they were low, it will not raise them above normal.
As for NO2, some like it and some don't. I didn't. I tried it but bottom line is, most stuff out there is just a scam. You have the basics down, and that is all you need.

logicalNinja,
Do you have any idea how many 30 year old guys are envious of your horomone levels? You're 15! Your body is oozing with testosterone. You are probably in high school, and you probably want to bone every single hottie that passes you in the halls. Know what causes that? Testosterone! Trust me - unless you have a medical problem, your test levels are more than just fine.
Secondly, taking testosterone boosters at such a young age will potentially f'ck you up. I believe it was on anabolicminds.com where I read a post of a guy who was 17 (his body had 2 years of maturity on yours. remember that.) and had done a full cycle of methyl-1-test. Wanna hear something scary? He can't get a boner now. No wood. No pecker. No purple headed yogurt slinger. He cannot perform in bed. Do you want to take that chance?
People who've used prohoromes and such swear back and forth that you shouldn't use things like that until your 21 for two main reasons.
1) They could permenantly alter your body in an extremely adverse way.
2) You plain don't need them.
Human Growth Horomone is very effective... if you want to look like a freak (and I don't mean freak like Ronnie Coleman... I mean like Herman Munster). If you were 4'11 and 75lbs, I would suggest you take buckets of it, but you're not. HGH users tend to have enlarged jawlines, foreheads, hands, and feet. They look like shaven Chewbaccas.
Now, with all that said, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. I, along with many others, have found the ultimate workout enhancing ingredient. Don't read any further than this if you aren't prepared to put in a lot of hard work in all areas - even outside the gym. Are you ready?
F O O D
That's right. You read it correctly. With proper diet, nutrition, and the hard work I suspect you're putting in already, you can walk down the halls, flex, and make people think you are a freak. That's what you want, right?
Cliff notes: You are young. You started very young, which makes me sort of envious of you. When I was 15, I didn't even know what creatine, No2, M1T, Animal Pak, or any of that other stuff was. And you know what? You don't need to use them now. You're a horomone factory. Work hard, eat right, and understand that you have one other amazing thing on your side in this match: time. You're in this early, which means that if you stick with it (naturally!) you can have an award winning physique.Memento Mori

Loader - you may be right. I'm not an expert on prohoromes or other performance enhancing drugs by any means, however, if you read the description of M1T at the bodybuilding.com superstore, you'll find this...
In the face of naturally declining hormone levels, Methyl-1-Tesosterone could be used by those looking for to restore their hormone levels. While self-medicating is strongly discouraged, this is one potential application.
logicalNinja - I'm glad you've decided to stick with what you're on now. Good luck in the gym.Memento Mori

08-10-2004, 12:00 AM #24M1T raises the levels of testosterone. To me, that says it's a testosterone booster.
However, due to negative feedback the body's own production of testosterone will slow down. So, when one stops taking M1T the levels of testosterone being produced naturally will be less than before taking the M1T. Testosterone boosters like ZMA contain no exogenous hormones but supposedly can lead to an increase in the body's natural test production. So, it all depends on your definiton of testosterone booster. I wouldn't define a wig as a hair booster simply because it increases the amount of hair on somebody's head. Would you?You can never do enough loading.

kardia056 - shut up. He may have asked for supplements, but he doesn't need them. Would you rather we tell him to take a boatload of andro so he can potentially screw up his body?Memento Mori

I think the one element nobody above me has mentioned is TIME!
It doesn't matter how many supplements you take, how many calories you intake, how much rest you get, or how hard you work out - you are not going to ever get BIG instantly.
If you are eating enough, working out hard enough, and resting enough, then just keep it up. You will make great gains, just give your body enough time to build!
Patience is something you need if you plan to look great.I hate stupid.
